#1- Redmi 9
Xiaomi has its own fan following in India, and the new releases are waited with bated breath. Every new phone tries to top the previous one with better features, all packed into a slimmer and sleeker model, and priced as low as possible.
The latest model launched by Xiaomi was the Redmi 9. Like all Xiaomi phones, this one also features an Android Operating System. Very similar to the Redmi 9i in almost all aspects, this is a budget phone that packs quite a punch.
It runs on Android 10 OS, with a touchscreen display measuring 6.53 inches. It comes with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Like most brands, even in Xiaomi, it’s the high end models that feature a super sensitive touch screen, but the Redmi 9i’s touchscreen isn’t very bad either, for the price you pay.
The phone uses a 5000mAh battery which is quite good and can hold up for those long hours on the road without a charger.
Like all modern phones, this one also comes with 2 cameras, a front and a rear one. The front camera has pretty good clarity for selfies with 5 megapixels. The rear camera features auto focus and has a high resolution of 13 megapixels.
It functions at a pretty good speed with a RAM of 4GB. You get Internal storage of 64 GB but this can be expanded upto 512 GB using a micro SD. This phone is quite appealing to those who love a large storage space where you can stash away your favourite movies, videos and probably documents as well.
This is a dual-sim card phone with 2 nano SIM slots.
The phone itself is not very heavy as it weighs less than 200 grams. It measures 165mm x 77mm and it is quite slim at 9 mm.
You can use Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v 5.00, GPS, micro-USB, 3G as well as 4G for connectivity.
While the Redmi 9i is sold in Midnight Black, Sea blue and a beautiful green, the Redmi 9 is available in sporty colours like orange.
